The Platform Beds Company - Free Shipping & Delivery

The Platform Beds Company offers free shipping and free back of truck delivery for all our platform beds and bedroom accessories.

For those customers that want a higher level of delivery, you can upgrade the delivery service you’ll receive for a small fee, here are four delivery levels we provide;

Back of Truck Delivery - Free

  • You unload your items from the truck

Curbside Delivery – Add $20 Per Order

  • Driver unloads your item(s) from the truck
  • Driver places item(s) in driveway or sidewalk

Bronze In Home Delivery – Add $75 Per Order

  • Driver unloads your item(s) from the truck
  • Driver places item(s) in your home (incl carrying up to 2 flights of stairs)

Platinum In Home Delivery – Add $150 Per Order

  • Driver unloads your item(s) from the truck
  • Driver places item(s) in your home (incl carrying up to 2 flights of stairs)
  • Driver unpacks items and removes debris
  • Driver does light assembly up to 30 minutes

General Shipping & Delivery Information

  • All deliveries will require someone to be present.
  • Deliveries will be made during normal business hours.
  • Carrier will call in advance to schedule delivery time, they will provide a 2-4 hour delivery window.
  • For Back of Truck Delivery option it is the customer’s responsibility to unload the truck and move the item into the home, unpack items and dispose of packaging materials.
  • For Curbside Delivery option it is the customer’s responsibility to move the item into the home, unpack items and dispose of packaging materials.
  • The street where the delivery is being made must be at least 10 feet wide with an overhead clearance of at least 14 feet.

Upon Delivery;

IMPORTANT: Customer must inspect the package at the time of delivery and before you sign the carrier’s delivery receipt. Do not sign for and accept the delivery of any boxes that have visible damage, if you accept delivery of damaged items, the Platform Beds Company cannot be held responsible for replacement of damage items.

If a box is missing, you may accept the delivered pieces, make a note of the shortage on the delivery receipt, and contact Platform Bed Company’s Customer Service at 860-642-7790 to locate the missing item(s).

Once you have signed the delivery receipt, including any notation of damage, make sure to ask the freight carrier for a copy of the delivery receipt. Also, record the freight company's name and trailer number so we may track the order back to our vendor or warehouse.

If you discover damages after the delivery is complete, please contact our Customer Care Center within 24 hours so that we may resolve the situation immediately.
